Chinese: Stir-Fried Water Spinach (Ong Choy)

(serves 2)


Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bulb fresh garlic, minced (about 12 cloves)
- 2 lbs fresh ong choy, stems removed
- ¼ cup water
- Salt
Procedure:
- Saute garlic in oil for about 1 minute
- Add ong choy, stir fry about 1 minute
- Add water, cover pan, let steam for about 2 minutes
- Add salt to taste
- Serve immediately
Note: This simple recipe can also be adapted for virtually any type of Asian greens.
